Enjoy this keto Avocado Caesar Salad recipe and please let me know how you found it! This recipe also works for; low carb, gluten free, diabetic, Atkins and Banting diets.
This yummy Keto Avocado Caesar Salad, is really quick to make when you are in a hurry. For one thing, it uses a ready made Caesar Salad dressing that is low in carbs. Additionally, this is really useful to keep in the fridge for days when you need to whip a fast keto meal.
Either Cardini’s or Paul Newman’s Caesar Salad dressing work well for this recipe. They both have very low carbohydrate contents and both taste really good. That said, they are both inexpensive to buy and are easy to find in the market.
THIS KETO AVOCADO CAESAR SALAD IS VERY LOW IN CARBS
This salad is very low in carbohydrates. I love it as a snack between meals when I am not intermittent fasting. Nonetheless, it is very satisfying, as the Avocado ramps up the fat content making it a safe and nutritious choice for a ketogenic lifestyle.
Serve as a side dish with a main meal or alternatively you can add a protein such as pan fried chicken, steak, beef or shrimp/prawns. They all work equally well to turn it into a main meal.

- Wash and chop the Romaine lettuces.

2. Cut open the avocado and criss cross with a knife so that it is cubed in side.

3. Scoop out the flesh of the avocado. It will come out in cubes since you cut it used the knife to criss-cross it and put into the bowl with the lettuce.

USE A GOOD QUALITY PARMESAN AS IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
4. Using a potato peeler, peel off strips of about 1/3 of the Parmesan cheese. Having different textures of cheese make it taste and look nicer.

5. Using a fine cheese grater, grate the rest of the Parmesan cheese and add to the bowl.

6. Measure out 100 ml of Cardini’s Caesar salad dressing. If you want to use more of the dressing just add it into the carb content, but it is very low in carbs and it is absolutely fine if you want to add more.

7. Add the Cardini’s Caesar Dressing to the bowl of Keto Avocado Caesar Salad. 100ml is 6.75 tablespoons if you find that measurement easier.

8. Break the Anchovies into small pieces and add to the bowl if desired. This is optional. I think it tastes just as good without, and depends on whether you like the fishiness of the Anchovies.

Enjoy this Keto Avocado Caesar salad which I suggested serving up with my keto spicy chicken legs with blue cheese dressing. I have this meal regularly. It is inexpensive as well as delicious. Please do let me know how you liked it!
